"1) Cetinje Monastery Built in 1701 by Bishop-Prince Danilo, is the single most important monument in Cetinje. It holds a collection of manuscripts dating from 13th to 18th century. Remeber to wear appropriate clothing when visiting. 2) Orlov Krš (Eagle’s Rock) Small mountain with a musoleoum of Danilo on top. On a clear sunny day you can see Durmitor mountain from here. Trivia fact: On 12th August 2022 a man shot his family members and few neighbours before fleeing the police right at this hilltop, where he was apprehended and shot dead. 3) Former embassy buildings Embassy of France, Serbia and England used to be located here. 4) Museums: -museum of King Nikola I Petrovic -ethnographic musuem of Montenegro -musuem of money -national museum of Montenegro Due to the low season I was visiting in all the museums were closed. 5) Lovcen Natural Park Lovcen is a mountain and the inspiration behind the country’s name meaning “black mountain”. The term refers to Lovcen dark appearance when covered in dense forest. On the top you can find Musoleum of Njegos. I also recommend visiting one of the local farms producing prosciutto and cheese. I especially loved cheese with rosemary! "
