"Chatuchak Park is a historical public park located in the southwest of Chatuchak District, Bangkok, Thailand. Opened in 1975, the park was built on land formerly owned by the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) and was created to honor King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) on his 48th birthday. The name "Chatuchak" refers to the King’s "four cycles" of life. The park spans 0.304 square kilometers and includes various sections with themed gardens, a flowers courtyard, and sculptures from ASEAN countries.
One of the park's most notable features is an artificial lake running through it, with multiple bridges crossing it, making it a tranquil spot for walking and exercise. The park also houses a clock tower and the Princess Sirindhorn's birthday anniversary garden. Visitors can enjoy recreational activities, and certified guide dogs are allowed in the park.
Chatuchak Park is part of a larger green space that includes the adjacent Queen Sirikit Park and Wachirabenchathat Park. In the summer, particularly from March to April, the area is known for the blooming of pink pouis along Phaholyothin Road, creating a picturesque scene for visitors.
The park is also accessible via the Chatuchak Park MRT station, making it convenient for both locals and tourists. It is a peaceful spot for relaxation and exercise, contributing significantly to the community and environment in Bangkok."

"This is such a beautiful park just across Chatuchak market. Had a really nice stroll in the park after my visit to the market. "
