"Içli Köfte, also known as kibbeh, are a kind of baked or fried “meatball.”
Kibbeh are made by pounding bulgur wheat together with meat (usually ground beef) into a paste and with toasted pine nuts and spices, then fried or baked to crispy perfection.
These are one of our very favorite foods we tried in Istanbul! Considered a national dish of both Lebanon and Syria, you’ll find these at any Assyrian style restaurant in Turkey.
Order them as an appetizer before your meal or as part of your main dish. We prefer them fried!"
