"Bouillons are a super fun French experience, and well known for being very affordable! There are 5 throughout Paris. This one is decked out in extravagant art nouveau/art deco embellishments. You'll find lots of non-fussy, traditional French classics and have a blast admiring the decor inside.
For 4 people, the total bill for 4 appetizers, 4 mains, a soda, and 1 liter of house wine was 90 EUR.
We got the escargot, terrine, oeufs dur mayonnaise (my fav), and veloute froid (cold soup) for apps. For mains we got the bouillon Julien (the namesake hot soup with chunks of beef, carrots, and little pearl pasta), the Parisian salad, steak frites (subbed the roasted potatoes for fries), and the gratin aux courgette (zucchini gratin). All great!
Kid friendly! Spacious, loud, and paper table covers that are ok to draw on (crayons not provided). "

"The interior is perfect! I love these types of traditional French restaurants. They not only impress you with their flavors, but also take you on a journey through time with the spirit of the place. I love places where I feel like I'm in a movie scene. This is one of them. One of the best examples."
