What people say

Nally Preseault
"Most people visit Haukadalur without ever knowing it. The Valley of Hawks is home to one of the most popular destinations in not only the Golden Circle, but in all of Iceland. It's Geysir. The vast geothermal area is dotted with boiling mud pits, bubbling hot springs, steaming vents, and other erupting geysers, as well. Earthquakes are common. Unfortunately, large crowds are, too. Don't let them stop you. The higher you climb on the surrounding hiking trails, the farther away they'll feel."
"EN: The is a loop road you can take to see the geothermal valley from all angles. The geyser Strokkur is still active, erupting every five to ten minutes.
