"A colorful and open-air street museum in the historic “La Boca” neighborhood lined with colorful buildings, tango dancers, bars and pubs, and artisan stalls. The neighborhood is a working class district and historic landing ground for many immigrants in the 1800s. It can get quite touristy and crowded, so is best to visit in the early morning. Do be cautious of hustling, pickpockets, and wandering too far from the main streets as it can become less safe — using Uber to get to/from or going with a tour is a great option for solo travelers. Bonus tips: - Escape the noise and crowds to the rooftop café above Fundación Proa, overlooking the neighborhood. - Try perhaps the BEST empanadas in the city from the small window with a bell along El Caminito (pictured)."
"The caminito in La Boca is a really cool spot and should be on your must-see/do list. The small cobblestone street is part of the La Boca neighbourhood with the famous and colourful pedestrian walk "El Caminito" being the main attraction. The street is lined with restaurants, souvenir and painting stalls, cute shops and tango dancers. Each house is painted in a different colour. This is because back then people just used the leftovers of the colours that they had at the harbour."
"Súper súper colorful and lively neighborhood only a quick walk from La Bombonera! Great place to watch free tango shows and have some steak + wine for lunch 😉"
