La Fontaine de Mars

La Fontaine de Mars is a charming, traditional French bistro located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris.

Must try: Enjoy the Escargots de Bourgogne (snails with garlic, parsley, and butter), Confit de Canard (duck leg slow-cooked in its own fat), Boeuf Bourguignon (hearty beef stew braised in red wine), and for dessert, the Tarte Tatin (upside-down caramelized apple tart) and crème brûlée are highly recommended.

Escape the tourist crowds near the Eiffel Tower and discover this charming bistro frequented by locals. Known for its classic French cuisine, La Fontaine de Mars serves up hearty dishes like coq au vin and duck confit in a cozy, traditional setting.

Visited by locals, tourists, and celebrities alike; this restaurant is an essential to try for local French food.
The staff is friendly and the food albeit heavy, is quite good. It's also super close to the Eiffel Tower.

We had the Magret de Canard and an excellent Boeuf Tartare. The Croustillant au chocolate was heavenly.

Where the Obamas celebrated their anniversary. Great, classic place
