"Set back in the oaks tree of Carmel Valley, Refuge is America’s first co-ed outdoor spa. It has a thermal cycle, where you alternate between hot and cold baths all outdoors. For those looking to unplug and relax, you’ll want to book some time here at this adult-only spa. Their silence policy (no cell-phones or talking) creates a serene setting to unwind. One recommendation is to consider doing an evening soak under the stars here.
They don’t currently take reservations and they do reach capacity sometimes but will add you to the waitlist. Bring your own robe if you have one or rent one there.
Update: they now accept reservation and still tinkering with the system. Book well in advance if possible."
