"Though not an exciting spot, Reynisfjara Beach Parking is a good one to know about in advance. From the Ring Road, you'll turn south onto Route 215, pass a church and a few guesthouses, and drive until the road ends. The parking lot will be straight ahead (overflow is to the right). There's no way you can miss it.
The lot is crowded, large, unpaved. You have to pay to park here using Iceland's Parka app or the machine on the side of the building (remember your license plate number). From the parking lot, you can easily walk onto the beach or visit the restaurant."
