"Entering into the Cafe du Souk is like entering a secret labyrinth. The entrance in the souk is totally unassuming. Once you enter, you'll walk down a hallway that feels like a museum, that opens up into a large space where several people are drinking tea, smoking shisha, and watching sports on the TV. There are several smaller rooms off of the main room.
At the very back, you'll find a set up stairs that wind up to the roof through several floors. Each floor is gorgeous with more small rooms covered in bright tile and textiles.
If you continue up to the rooftop, the space will open up to the sky. There are several sections with mosaic tiles on the walls and floor.
When we were there, they were doing construction. It seemed they were preparing a rooftop cafe, similar to Cafe Panorama, across the street.
You can go to the rooftop for free. It's also a great place to have a tea and enjoy the relaxing environment.
It is easy to find Cafe du Souk on Google Maps."
