Some of the park's attractions include Castle Clinton National Monument, the SeaGlass Carousel, the Battery Urban Farm, and the historic Battery fortification, which dates back to the 17th century. "Most only use this as a jumping off point for a Statue of Liberty Boat Cruise. Feel free to add this if you'd like. This park has multiple attractions/monuments. Our favorite is the Sea Glass Carousel ($5.50). Ride around on what look like old pieces of Sea Glass shaped like fish in a Merry-Go Round. This would be great for kids, or anybody who wants some funky pictures. Another interesting option, is Castle Clinton, a Fort from the War of 1812. There are 20 or so memorials spread all over Battery Park. My favorite is the Merchant Mariners Memorial. I enjoy “The Battery” for the views of the Statue of Liberty, and a bit of peace and quiet amongst the chaos of Manhattan."
