Miradouro do Socorro

"The historic centre of Funchal preserves centuries of rich history in its architectural heritage, in which the connection to the sea has always played a very important role. Located just 20 metres above sea level, this observatory is located in the Old Town of Funchal, the area where the city's first settlement is believed to have been founded.
