"The Conservatory Garden is currently CLOSED until 2024 for restoration.
The Conservatory Garden is the only formal garden in Central Park. It's divided into three distinct gardens. From north to south, the gardens are French, Italian, and English in style. Each one has its draw.
The French side has an absolutely incredible display of tulips in the Spring. But if you're there in other seasons they switch the flowers out to something else that's in bloom, so it's always really pretty.
The Italian garden has two rows of crabapple trees and when they bloom in the Spring, it feels like you're walking through a movie. It also has an impressive pergola covered in wisteria that looks great in all seasons.
The English garden features a birdbath statue of Mary and Dickon, the main characters in The Secret Garden. It stands in a water lily pond under a beautiful shade tree.
