What people say

"Ruprechtskirche, or St. Rupert’s Church, is considered the oldest church in Vienna, dating back to the 8th or 9th century. Located in the charming Ruprechtsplatz, it features a blend of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles, with simple yet historically significant interiors. Explore the church’s modest interior and take in the ancient stained glass windows, some of the oldest in Vienna. The surrounding Ruprechtsplatz is a peaceful square, perfect for a quiet stroll after your visit. Ruprechtskirche is dedicated to St. Rupert, the patron saint of salt merchants, reflecting Vienna's historical significance as a trading hub. The church’s bell tower is home to one of the oldest bells in Vienna, dating back to the 13th century. This is one place we did not go to but I think would have been nice to see!"
