"Lipp brasserie is one of the most famous in Paris, for it is located in the center of intellectual life: Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and also pretty close from the ministries and important political adresses of the Left Bank. Opened in 1880, its speciality was from Alsace (east of France) with choucroute and cervelas. It has been decorated with tilted murals by the painter Leon Fargues in the 1920s. the menu is still very traditional and authentic"
