"Calle Argumosa is an institution. Apart from La Caníbal, there’s nowhere I’d really eat. But on a sunny afternoon the entire street is abuzz with people drinking cañas on the terraces that line the sidewalk. It’s a lovely – if boozy – way to spend a few hours.
If you’re keen for a night out drinking (or a nightcap) in Lavapiés, probably the most local option is just to work your way down Calle Argumosa. Pick a bar, order a gin & tonic
and Bob’s your uncle."

"Very cool lively street full of bars and casual restaurants but more importantly LOTS of terrace seating. When the weather is nice this is my absolute favorite place to be. And right next to Lavapiés metro. "
