"The story of Église Saint-Michel begins in the 12th century, when a modest Romanesque church stood on its site. Over time, the church underwent transformations, reflecting the changing architectural styles and the town's growing prosperity. In the 18th century, the decision was made to demolish the medieval structure and construct a grander, more modern church. The new Église Saint-Michel, completed in 1757, embodied the elegance and exuberance of the Baroque era. Its façade, a harmonious blend of stone and stucco, is adorned with pilasters, cornices, and a pediment, creating a sense of grandeur and refined taste. Stepping inside, one is immediately struck by the church's luminous interior. The nave, bathed in soft natural light, stretches towards the apse, creating a sense of spaciousness and tranquility. Gilded accents, intricate carvings, and vibrant frescoes embellish the walls and ceiling, adding a touch of opulence and artistry."

Positioned at the rear of the choir is a striking large painting portraying Saint Michael, the patron saint.
