"If you only visit one museum in Liverpool, I'd suggest this one.
Slavery is not a comfortable piece of human history for us to inspect. It is, however, incredibly important to acknowledge and learn from it how to better care for our fellow human beings.
I found the exhibits to be honest, informative, and surprisingly hopeful.
The museum regularly open Tuesday - Sunday, 10:00am - 5:00pm. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
