"Ribeira, on the banks of the Duoro river, is the most picturesque and tourist district of Porto. This district, made up of a labyrinth of narrow streets overlooked by colorful houses decorated with azulejos, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you can find many typical pubs and restaurants, souvenir shops and small shops. Along the river you will notice the typical boats that transport the barrels of wine from the cellars to their destination.
