This city has an absolutely thriving wine bar scene - particularly in East London. It’s one of my favourite kinds of places to go out with friends and has led to some of my favourite afternoons and evenings in this wonderful city in the last few years. It’s the kind of place where you can dive into the buzz or find a quiet moment to just be, depending on what you’re craving. London feels like a city that’s always in tune with you, offering up new experiences while making you feel like you’re right where you belong.

Having lived in North East London for 2 years, eating my way around the cute independent haunts consistently this is my well curated and tested list of some of the best places to get your foodie fix. I believe North East London is the best area for anything gastronomic in London - kicking central London's a** - from cocktails to dinner you can have many nights sorted with this region alone.
