"Opposite the tower, on the south end of the mosque plaza is the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Built in the 1960s as a mausoleum to celebrate Mohammed V, who helped bring independence to Morocco.
The interiors of the mausoleum are said to be spectacular. Highly ornate and decorated in the moorish style."
