I went into 2023 with a huge appetite for travel but very few plans to do so. Little did I know London was on the horizon, and while my annual anniversary trip was much tamer than usual in  humble Huntsville AL, I was so glad to do a solo Disney World trip (again), take my girls on the road for the first time to Louisiana, and have lots of Tennessee day trips in between. Radnor Lake State Park

Escape the noise of the city to wander hiking trails around scenic Radnor Lake. 

Located just south of Nashville, the park is a beautiful place to go for a run, explore as family, or stretch your legs. Some of the trails are paved and wide enough to accommodate strollers or mobility aids. 

Educational signage placed throughout the park inform visitors of the wildlife and plants that make their home there. Additional information is available in the Walter Criley Visitor Center, located at the west parking lot off Otter Creek Road. 

The park is free to access and open year round from 6:00am until 20 minutes after sunset.

Even if it wasn't supposedly one of Taylor Swift's favorite places in Nashville, this park has great low-impact walking trails.
