"Designed by the Renaissance architect Filippo Brunelleschi, this iconic dome is the largest masonry dome in the world and a marvel of architectural engineering. You can reserve a timed ticket for a guided tour where you actually can climb to the top of the dome for panoramic views of Florence! On the tour you also get a close-up look at the intricate frescoes decorating the interior of the dome. The climb is 463 steps & there is no elevator steps so plan accordingly!"

"Book tickets in advance - you have to select a time and date for these and they will sell out, so plan this in advance! Where you buy the tickets are linked below! You can get a few different passes, they have different access for each, but I recommend the Brunelleschi Pass so you can climb to the top of the Dome! "
