"The Hooker Valley Track is one of the most beautiful hikes in all of New Zealand! You will park in the main carpark for Aoraki Mt. Cook and head over to the trailhead on the right. Occassionally, the bridges do close due to poor weather conditions, so make sure to check for closures before you go. There are 2 different hikes you can do here - the Hooker Lake Trail or the Muller Lake Lookout. We'd recommend doing the Hooker Lake Trail for the iconic view of Mt. Cook if you have the time. There are 3 bridge crossings and it's stunning at any time of the day. "
"This is a 10 km out & back track, meaning you will walk back the same way you came. It takes about 3 hours to complete and is one of the most popular ones. The track takes you through the valley, along the Hooker river over swinging bridges and ends at the Hooker glacier lake. Views are super beautiful along the way over Mueller Lake, the surrounding mountains, icebergs and this breathtaking valley."
