"Subotica, located in the northern part of Serbia, is renowned for its exquisite architecture. The city boasts a remarkable collection of Art Nouveau buildings, including the iconic City Hall and the Subotica Synagogue, one of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe. These structures showcase the city's rich cultural heritage.
Cycling around the city is fairly easy, and there are many bike lanes and shops where it is possible to rent a bicycle. A nice activity is to explore the city and visit the Palic Lake cycling. The lake is only 10km away from the city center of Subotica. Don't miss the opportunity to drink a coffee in one of the many bars around the lake area and enjoy the view.
I stayed in Vila Palma Palic; the owners were very kind and helpful. They gave me tons of information about Subotica and Palic.
When to go: From March to November."
