"The Adži-pašin Bridge, located in the old Turkish quarter of Stara Varoš in Podgorica, is a historic structure spanning the Ribnica River near its confluence with the Morača River. Often referred to as the Ribnica Bridge or the Sastavci Bridge, it is a notable landmark in the area, particularly beneath the walls of the Depedogen fortress.
Built in a medieval style, the bridge features an elegant arched design, with short stone steps leading to its entrances from both sides. In the summer, the area around the bridge serves as a venue for concerts and various cultural events, adding to its charm.
While the bridge's origins trace back to the Roman period, it suffered significant damage during a catastrophic earthquake in 618. It underwent extensive reconstruction in the first half of the 18th century, funded by Adži-paša Osmanagić, which led to its current name, the Adži-pašin Bridge.
The bridge has become a beloved romantic spot for residents of Podgorica. Younger locals affectionately refer to it as Skaline (Staircase), a name that originated from the steps built from the bridge to the nearby Nemanjin Grad fortress (Depedogen) in the 1950s. This historic site not only serves as a functional crossing but also as a gathering place that enriches the cultural life of the city."

"It dates back to the 15th century, when the place was under the rule of the Ottoman Turks, and is very distinctive for that time and culture, made of stone and with arches connecting the two sides of the river. In the 18th century, the bridge went through the renovation funded by the local citizen Adži-paša Osmanagić hence the place is often referred to as Adži-paša’s bridge."
