"Area: Polonnaruwa. Great hospitality, Ekho Lake House is a truly beautiful lakeside hotel, inches from the museum and site of ancient city of Polonnaruwa. It's a fantastic location and at sunset you can see hundreds of flying foxes take to the skies and fly across the lake in search of food! It's also worth noting the staff are amazing and super friendly- they make you feel very welcome, and the food and ambiance are fantastic. If you can't afford to stay here, it's a great place to go for some food, drinks or coffee. "
