"The Kamnik-Savinja Alps are a mountain range in the Eastern Alps. They hug the border of northern Slovenia, briefly crossing into southern Austria. Twenty-eight of its limestone peaks are considered two-thousanders (those that rise at least 2,000 meters, but less than 3,000 meters, above sea level). A small glacier, the Skuta Glacier, sits below Mount Skuta. It's the easternmost glacier in all of the Alps. The mountains are mostly covered in forests until you reach their rocky tops. Clear rivers run down the sides of them. While bikers, hikers, and skiers are drawn to the area's fresh air and gorgeous scenery."
