"Kopaonik is the biggest and most famous ski resort in Serbia and the Balkans. During the winter, people from Bosnia, Romania, Bulgaria, Montenegro, and many other countries visit. It has more than 25 ski tracks for all levels.
The infrastructure there is the best in Serbia; when someone asks a Serb where to go for winter sports, you can bet Kopaonik will be the answer. The ski resort has changed a lot in the last few years, and it continues expanding, increasing the number of tracks and the reach of the complex.
I wrote a blog post about the pros and cons of Kopaonik, which is in the links section. If you don't have your own transportation, booking a transfer with Geatours or TerraTravel is the easiest way to go there.
I recommend buying ski passes on the ski resort website; often, there's a promotion with discounts for those who buy their passes online."
