What people say

James Blick
"It’s certainly not the best restaurant in town, but I have a certain soft spot for this place. Maybe it’s just the magic of the space, and the fact it’s kind of lost on the outskirts of the old city. It’s an over 100-year-old Asturian restaurant famous for its roast chickens and (hard) apple cider. It was a hangout for Asturian emigres to Madrid who worked on the railroad, and now is a popular place for a hearty meal. Cider comes “natural” (dry and buttery) or sweet – I prefer “natural”."
