Athens is a remarkable city humming with history, culture and experiences. You can easily spend multiple days in this wonderful city exploring and viewing all it has to offer. Athens is also a great starting and ending spot for many of the Cycladic Islands throughout the Aegean sea and you can cover a lot of the city in a short layover. So, if your travel plans only allow a short time in this historic destination, we recommend at least a two-night layover. Enjoy!
