Morgan Nott
"At this point, two rivers meet: the Blyde River (River of Happiness) & the Treur River (River of Tears). As the legend goes, one day the men left their wives at camp and went out in search of gold. Many weeks passed, & the wives grew very sad—hence the "River of Tears"— & set out to find their husbands. Their joy upon finding them at this point gave rise to the "River of Happiness."
Originally named after Eddie Bourke, a gold hunter in the 16th century, this spot features a beautiful waterfall & rock formations carved by decades of swirling eddies of water."
