"Crystal River is situated around King's Bay, which is spring fed and maintains a constant 72º Fahrenheit year-round. This makes it the perfect sanctuary for manatees in the winter when the ocean is cold. As a result, the best time to visit Crystal River to see manatee's is from November to April. You can spot manatee's in Crystal River year-round, but the masses visit during the cooler months. "
