What people say

"THE party hostel of Chaing Mai. This is one of the most popular hostels for a reason. 4.8/5 stars on Google reviews (400 reviews) Reviewer: "Stamps is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at across 5 different continents. They manage to balance being social without being too focused on simply partying. The staff here genuinely wants you to have the best time here possible. They offer a ton of activities (Sammy's cooking class!) And are willing to welcome you in even if your room is at another hostel. Anything you want to do in Chiang Mai can be organized through them, if they don't have it offered they are happy to help you organize a crew. Special shout out to Knight who not only makes sure to know people's names, but goes out of his way to make sure people feel included. If you are a solo backpacker and don't stop by stamps while in town, you are doing yourself a disservice. I am usually skeptical of such hype, but this place truly and deservedly has earned its reputation as one of the best hostels in not only Thailand but I would argue (in my travels), the world Rooms: Rooms are siloed in a way that it makes it feel like an almost private room, and they are far enough away that the potential noise from downstairs isn't an issue Nearby activities: You want to do an activity? Stamps has you covered. They are running a bevy of daily activities and will help you organize anything beyond what they offer. Safety: I forgot my phone when leaving to check in to another hostel. When j got back it was not only at reception, but they already knew it was mine as well. Incredibly safe Walkability: Just outside the central city, you can easily walk to any of the main points or grab a grab""
"Best vibes here. Felt like a family. Everyone explores the city together and goes out together at night. Beds are the nicest but the atmosphere makes up for it. "
