"Si l’on compare la forme de la péninsule coréenne a à celle d’un tigre, Homigot (호미곶) à Pohang (Gyeongsangbuk-do) constitue la queue de l’animal. La place Homigot Sunrise est l'hôte du Festival Homogot Sunrise. On y trouve diverses installations comme un monument, un socle de torche et une scène de spectacle. A l’entrée se trouve un jardin jaune brillant et doré qui fleurit en avril et en mai. On peut aussi y voir une sculpture de bronze en forme de main située au bord de la mer : elle symbolise l'harmonie et la coexistence. La flamme est utilisée pour diverses compétitions sportives internationales. A proximité se trouve également le phare Homigot, qui est aussi un musée."
