Objectifs - Centre for Photography & Film

"Objectifs is an independent non-profit visual arts space in Singapore dedicated to nurturing original voices in visual storytelling and expanding perspectives through the power of images. Since its establishment in 2003, Objectifs has developed a dynamic program that includes exhibitions, screenings, residencies, developmental programs, talks, and workshops, all aimed at enhancing the practice and appreciation of photography and film. Initially founded in Liang Seah Street in the Bugis area, Objectifs relocated to Arab Street in 2009, where it occupied four floors of an art deco-influenced shophouse. In June 2015, the organization moved to its current location at 155 Middle Road, situated in the arts and heritage district, as part of the National Arts Council's Arts Housing Scheme. The facilities at Objectifs are designed to support a vibrant artistic community and include a gallery/screening space, two multipurpose areas, outdoor courtyards, and a retail store. Through its various programs and initiatives, Objectifs continues to play a significant role in promoting visual arts in Singapore, providing a platform for artists and audiences to engage with contemporary visual storytelling."
