Hokitika is known as the "Cool Little Town" and you can find many shops selling pounamu (greenstone) here but also other art works. It's located right at the beach and the surrounding offers many outdoor acitivities.

The accommodation we stayed at is no longer available. We stayed in the downtown area next to the Town clock.
