"Phra Nang Cave Beach in Krabi, Thailand is a small peninsula beach with clear waters, coral reefs, caves, and cliffs that some say is a fun place to visit. Here are some reasons to visit: Swimming and snorkeling Some recommend swimming or snorkeling during the day when the weather is right, but others say it can be dangerous for first-timers during high tide. Phra Nang Cave Shrine The cave is a sacred place with a shrine that some say is unusual. According to legend, Phra Nang was either an Indian princess who died in a shipwreck nearby or the wife of a local fisherman who went missing at sea. Fishermen and boatmen still make offerings to Phra Nang, a Princess Goddess, to ensure a safe journey. Nearby islands Phra Nang Beach is close to two small islands, Koh Rang Nok and Nai, and many travelers visit the beach on a 4-island tour from Krabi or Ao Nang. The tour includes Poda Island, which has a white beach, Chicken Island, and the twin islets of Tup Island and Mor Island. Views Some say the beach has a beautiful view, including the Phra Nang princess temple and lagoons. "
