East Coast Beach

"East Coast Park, situated on Singapore's southeastern coast, is the country’s largest park, spanning 185 hectares of reclaimed land and featuring a 15-kilometer coastline. Established in the 1970s following extensive land reclamation, the park lies south of Marine Parade, Bedok, and Tampines, and has become a beloved recreational spot for both local residents and visitors from all over Singapore. With its theme, “Recreation for All,” East Coast Park offers diverse activities, from sports to dining, against a backdrop of a man-made beach protected by breakwaters, where safe swimming is possible. The park is organized into eight sections, from A to H. The central areas, B to F, are particularly popular, boasting facilities such as barbecue pits, food centers, and sports amenities, while the edges, A, G, and H, tend to be quieter. A prominent feature is the cycling and inline skating track that stretches over 15 kilometers, linking East Coast Park to Changi Beach Park through the Coastal Park Connector Network along Tanah Merah Coast Road. Fishing enthusiasts also frequent the Bedok Jetty, located in Area F. With over 7.5 million visitors each year, East Coast Park is not only a scenic retreat but also an integral part of Singapore’s recreational landscape."
