"💰 Free Access 📏 Depth 5-18m 🐠 Snorkellers can expect to encounter an array of tropical fish species, including baby black tip sharks, turtles, parrotfish, angelfish, and butterflyfish, among many others. 🏊🏻‍♀️ If you swim to the right side of the boulders, you'll find sandy area with some artificial dive site, we call it "The Cubes". Fun to practice freediving. 🛵 Getting to Tanote Bay is relatively straightforward. From the main town of Mae Haad, you can rent a motorbike or hire a taxi to reach the bay. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes and offers scenic views along the way. The road leading to Tanote Bay is well-paved, although it does feature a few steep and winding sections, so caution should be exercised while driving. 🧗🏿‍♀️Tanote Bay also offers the thrilling activity of rock jumping, which adds an extra element of excitement to the overall experience. 🥗You'll also find a handful of cozy restaurants right on the beach, creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can kick back, satisfy your cravings, and enjoy a meal with your toes in the sand. 🚫 Don’t touch or harm the animals or the reef – you are in their habitat, protect and respect it. 👫🏾 Always swim, snorkeling/ freedive with a buddy. "If I had to pick a beach to say was the most popular on the island, it would probably be Tanote Bay! ... although for good reason. With a large rock in the a short swim from the bay to jump off of to the great snorkelling across the whole length of the bay it is b-e-a-utiful. Quick tip, for those who aren't so comfortable driving a moped maybe consider getting a taxi? The road is very steep and very bendy, so be careful if you do choose to drive it:)"

"Tanote Bay is a quieter, more secluded spot on Ko Tao, ideal for snorkeling and diving. Surrounded by rocky cliffs, it offers a peaceful escape from the island's busier areas. "
