"Ahua Tulum is both a place to stay and a great beach bar, they also occasionally host festivals there such as Art With Me, so it is worth checking what is happening in the area before you go, incase you want tickets to the event.
I visited for a festival and the beach bar and both were great! The beach bar is located in the centre of the main strip on the beach and is nicely decorated with good service, food and drinks.
I went there on my own and with friends and felt perfectly safe to leave my things on a sunbed and go for a swim, or just lie there.
It is good to note that most beach bars in Tulum don't have a day charge but instead a minimum spending amount, which to be honest, could be worth the price if you're spending the day at the beach.
Ahua is also home to the famous statue "Ven A La Luz", so if you want to see this, Ahua is the place to go. Again, be aware of the crowds that head there for the perfect photo so I would suggest going earlier in the morning to see the statue before the crowds get there. For example if you stay at Mamasan Tulum, this hotel is across the road from Ahua so seeing the statue early is very easy. There is also a coffee / breakfast restaurant right next door to go to after having a look. "

Although it is a premium resort, it offers one of the few direct accesses to Tulum’s beautiful beaches. You can walk through the property to enjoy the sand and sea without needing a special beach club reservation. If you head to the left along the beach, you’ll discover a charming spot adorned with palm trees and ample shade.
The parking fee at Ahau Tulum typically ranges around 100-200 MXN per day. However, fees can vary based on the season or specific events. It’s always a good idea to check directly with Ahau Tulum for the most accurate and current parking information before your visit."
