Museum of Alchemists and Magicians of Old Prague
What people say
Dream Prague
"Take a break from the 21st Century Prague and enter the world of alchemists. Dive deep into the texts of old experts and professors of Charles University and learn the ins and outs of magic. Things might get a little scary (the Czechs have a deep love for legends, myths, and other real stories...) so be ready to explore the secret, mystical rooms of history-soaked buildings leading you from studies to labs. There is a themed pub and refreshments are guaranteed -- though be careful you don't accidentally drink a deadly potion!
📍LOCATION
✔️The museum has several locations across the city with each focusing on different exhibitions!
✔️The main Museum of ALCHEMISTS is located below the Prague Castle off of Nerudova Street -- "Jánský vršek 8" and the best way to get there is to climb up Nerudova Street from Malostranské náměstí (tram 20, 22). The alternative is to tour the castle first and then descend down Nerudovat Street to prevent the stairs
✔️The sister museum is the Museum of Prague GHOSTS and LEGENDS of Old Prague, located down the hill from the other one, on "Mostecká 18," a few steps from the Charles Bridge Tower
🛞 stroller NOT accessible (a lot of stairs)
