"For a relatively low-key night out, Albufeira's historic centre has plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants to visit. If you are looking for a more aggressive night of partying, you will want to visit the Albufeira Strip (also known as the Montechoro strip), the heart of Albufeira's nightlife.
The strip is located on Avenida Sá Carneiro and has plenty of bars, discos and nightclubs, attracting tourists with good deals and restaurants from traditional Portuguese food to more ethical cuisine. You can walk up and down the strip until you find a place that is to your liking."

"The famous Albufeira Strip runs downwards from the Hotel Montechoro, all the way down to the beach, dissected by the main road to Albufeira. It's full of bars and restaurants of all types. The "tourist train" starts and finishes halfway down the Strip, so you dont need to walk the whole thing. There's a mix of karaoke, clubbing and live acts / tribute nights. The ABBA act is hilarious fun!"
