Petrin Hill

Dream Prague
"Prague's most romantic park will sweep you off your feet with its gorgeous view over Prague from "PetÅĆn" (baby Eiffel) tower. Take a ride in the funicular up the hill and wander down through the alley of cherry blossom trees. If you are here in the spring, get a kiss from your significant other under a blossomed cherry tree (local tradition).

"PetÅĆn is a hill almost 140 metres high, located very close to Prague Castle, and built on the site of former vineyards that have now been converted in a maze of well-kept paths that will lead you around a splendid park.
As we were in the New Town district, we took a walk along the Vltava River and crossed the Most LegiĆ Bridge (Bridge of Legions), next to which you will find the magnificent NĆ”rodnĆ divadlo (National Theatre); however, it is also easily reached by a walk from the Strahov Monastery if you are in the castle area, and otherwise from MalĆ” Strana by taking the funicular.
