Cradle Mountain Summit Track

"12km there and back, 800m incline High intensity - steep incline with very uneven surfaces The track we're all here for! Please note this route is TOUGH, you will be scrambling up and across rocks and leaning into a cliff face for balance, it will also give the strongest stomached some vertigo so if you have a real fear of heights this may not be the hike for you. If you can stomach it, you'll be rewarded with beautiful views across the surrounding mountains, pack a picnic and eat a sandwich overlooking the Tasman park. This route can be started at either Ronny Creek or Dove Lake Car Parks - both these spots have a bus stop too. Note that this route isn't always open - due to changeable weather the park often closes the summit for safety reasons, check in with the Visitor Centre before you start your climb."
