"Dunsborough is a great base to explore Cape Natualistes pristine beaches, walking trails, and lighthouse. It's a 249km drive ( or around 2,45h ) from Perth or a 23,5km ( 20 min ) drive if you come from Busselton.
1. Visit the lighthouse or enjoy the magnificent views that the area has to offer.
.
2. This easy four kilometre trail is the most westerly loop of the Cape Naturaliste Walk Trail Network, taking you nearly all the way to the tip of the cape with spectacular views along the way. Don't be scared as it is classified as a grade 3 hike. You are fine. I am not sporty spice so if I can do it, YOU CAN DO IT
.
3. Take a short drive to Injidup Natural spa on your way to Margaret river. The dramatic shore is worth the stop and is one of the most instagrammable places southwest.
.
4. Cape Naturaliste's lighthouse is the beginning or end point of the 123 km cape to cape track. So it's the ideal place for who likes a little challenge.
.
5. Relax and enjoy from the beautiful roads and the incredible Wildlife.
Have Fun

"Half an hour away from Busselton, take a detour trip to Dunsborough!
Where the waters glitter as the sun hits the waves. Visit the most beautiful Meelup Beach and bask in the sunlight. ☀️
If you’re there in the winter or don’t fancy a swim, take a trip to Cape Naturaliste to see Sugarloaf Rock and overlook the Indian Ocean for a sight of wonder.
On your trip to the wonderful south of WA, you may visit both Cape Leeuwin and Cape Naturaliste. Cape Naturaliste is the northernmost point of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge. Climb up the steps of the lighthouse to the highest point and marvel at the horizon. 🌊
Scroll up to 'Adventuring' 4. Cape Leeuwin for an overview!
Also, an unmissable ice cream stop is Simmo’s Ice Creamery. A local favourite and a short drive from Busselton as well. Boasting award-winning flavours of 60 choices, this isn’t one to skip! 🍨 "
