This short guide focuses on only a fraction of the eastern half of South Philadelphia. The neighborhoods: - "East Passyunk" (pronounced PASH-unk by locals) is a residential neighborhood with a lively restaurant scene. - "Italian Market" is the name of the old Italian neighborhood around 9th street, which still hosts a large outdoor market. Nowadays, the neighborhood is home to many Mexican and Vietnamese immigrants. This is reflected in the diverse cuisines! - Queen Village and South Street. South street is the border between Center City (not "downtown), and South Philly. This area has an abundance of vintage stores and art galleries and street art. Notably you may see many glass mosaics on stores and homes by Isaiah Zagar, which culminates at the Magic Gardens.

All the delicious foods around the city. I grew up outside of Philly and made my way across the food scene over the last few years living in the heart of it. Here are some of my favorites. I will be keeping this guide up to date as I try out new spots around town.
