Noosa Shire

"Noosa is like the boujee older sister of Byron. Byron has such a small town, hip vibe and Noosa definitely is a more posh beach town. It’s also where I stayed at the most incredible hostel in the world. Remember when I told you to skip Surfers Paradise? This is one of the places I would tack on more time to instead of heading to Surfers. I spent 4 nights here at Bounce hostel (seriously more like a fancy hotel than a hostel) and wished I had more time. The only downside to this hostel is that it is about a 45 minute walk to the beach and the main part of Noosa. Noosa is split into 2 main sections: Noosa Heads and Noosa Ville. The hostel is in Noosa Ville. Luckily Noosa offers free buses on the weekends so if you are there over the weekend, you can save some $$$ by utilizing the free buses. Did you know there are only 2 Everglades in the world? One in Florida and one in Noosa and while I’ve yet to visit the one that’s one state down from me, I can say I visited the one in Australia. And the Australian one doesn’t have crocodiles or alligators so you can swim in it. Definitely worth it to spend a day gliding through the Noosa Everglades. Top things to do in and around Noosa: -Fairy Pools -Coastal Walk (keep your eyes peeled for koalas) -Sunshine Beach (try to catch the sunrise here) -Little Cove Beach -Everglades -Australian Zoo (if you missed your chance to see it from Brisbane, you can take a day trip out from Noosa) "
