"1) Castello
So Petrovac does not have an Old Town but it does have a castle set by the small harbour. The fortress offers magnificent view of the sea and the promenade. Looks even more spectacular at night with the lights on.
2) Promenade
Loved the small colourful houses, charming restaurants and boats parked on the side.
3) Katic and Sveta Nedjela islets
Two tiny islands located 1km from Petrovac and no, I do not recommend swimming to it. There are boat tours from Budva, Petrovac or Bar. You can also use a pedal boat like me:) The church was replaced after 1979 earthquake destroyed the original one. Excellent spot for snorkelling and diving.
4) Tunnel walk
Located just behind Monte Casa hotel is a path that will take you for most beautiful coastal walk in whole Montenegro. Best part? The whole path has street lights which means you can enjoy it after your dinner:) In case you are a claustrophobic you can check out my time lapse of the walk. There are three tunnels in total with the first one being the longest.
5) Buljarica beach
At the end of the promenade you can find a small hill that has a viewpoint over Petrovac. The first part is quite rough and I would not recommend walking it in the dark. Once you make it to the top you will see a proper sidewalk with hundreds of steps leading you to Uvala Lucice, a small beach. From there you can keep following the path all the way to Buljarica, 4 km long beach.
6) Sveti Sava Church
This may be the most scenic insta famous spot on Montenegro coast. You get perfect view of Sveti Stefan and Budva and a perfect platform to capture it all. You can easily access it by car (following the M1 and then turning into the village of Blizkuce). If you fancy some exercise there is also a lovely hike from Manastir Praskvica. Just follow the path to the cemetery and then take the first turn right and follow the marked path. Best past is that you will walk in the forest which means this hike is doable even on the hottest day. "
