"1) Lake Skadar National Park Lake Skadar is the largest lake in Southern Europe and largest bird reserve in Europe with over 270 bird species calling it home. During summer season there are boats offering a trip around the lake and you may want to bring binoculars. The standard tour lasts 2hrs and costs between 15-20€. Private tour is also available for 30€ per hour. I absolutely recommend this attraction and you will have the opportunity to swim in the lake as well. 2) Virpazar Small fisherman village that can be reached by train, bus or a car. Excellent area for boat trips across the Skadar Lake and hiking. There is also a winery, a castle and a hotel , should you wish to enjoy this place for more than a day. 3) Pavlova Strana Second most famous viewpoint after Kotor bay. The road leading to it it is very narrow so drive carefully. You can also enjoy this view by hopping on a boat. 4) Rijeka Crnojevica This small village will make for a very picturesque spot on your trip. Walk across the Stari and Novi Most across the sparkly clean water and then grab lunch at one fo the restaurants by the small promenade. During summer you can also hop on a boat that will take you to other exciting places in the country. "

"Rijeka Crnojevica is the place to go if you want to experience Skadar Lake from a different perspective, on the water! This is where most of the boat tours depart from. I can't remember which company we went for, they were pretty much all the same price. For two of us, we paid around 40-50€ for an hour's private tour. The price varies depending on the area you want to cover. It is a bit expensive for Montenegro standards, but I would absolutely recommend! The countless waterlilies give such a unique vibe to the lake, and the boat guide knows where the best photo spots are! "
